Therapy Services
Specialized telehealth therapy for perinatal mental health, teens, and children. Serving clients in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
What We Offer
A Rae of Hope Wellness provides telehealth therapy for individuals, teens, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Care is grounded in compassion, clarity, and practical support, with a focus on perinatal mental health, teen therapy, and play therapy-informed care.
-
Individual therapy is available for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. Sessions are strengths-based, culturally responsive, and focused on practical tools alongside deeper healing.
-
Support for pregnancy, postpartum, and the emotional shifts that come with becoming a parent. Therapy may focus on anxiety, intrusive thoughts, depression, identity changes, relationship strain, and the mental load that many parents carry in silence.
-
Teen therapy provides a supportive space for adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, school pressures, and emotional regulation. Care is collaborative and developmentally appropriate, with space for both teen voice and parent involvement when needed.
-
Therapy for children and families often includes play-based interventions, emotional regulation skill-building, and parent support sessions. Parent sessions may focus on behavior, routines, communication, and strengthening the parent-child relationship.
-
Faith can be integrated into therapy at the client’s request. This may include values-based work, prayer, scripture, and Christian-centered support in a way that remains clinically grounded, respectful, and ethical.
What to Expect
Start with an Assessment
Your first session is a 75-minute assessment where we discuss what brings you in, what you have tried, and what you want to feel different. We will set clear goals and create a plan for care.
Build Safety and Trust
Therapy is a relationship. We will move at a pace that feels steady and supportive, while also making sure sessions stay purposeful and grounded.
Learn Practical Tools
You will leave sessions with coping strategies, language for what you are experiencing, and tools you can use between sessions. Therapy is both emotional support and skill-building.
Strengthen and Maintain Progress
As you start to feel better, we will focus on keeping progress steady, preventing relapse, and strengthening your support system so you feel more confident long-term.
